The Disability Employment Helpline:

Free advice and assistance for people with health problems or disabilities.  This is a new service which makes it easier for you to get in touch with  help and advice from your local Jobcentre Plus.  The support and use of this service is voluntary ands services include:

bullet

a referral for a 'one-to-one' informal chat at a Jobcentre Plus office with a Disability Employment Advisor, or with a New Deal for Disabled People job broker, or appropriate support organisation of your choice.

bullet

help deciding what sort of work might suit you, through friendly, specialist advice.

bullet

access to confidence -building courses.

bullet

access to training programmes.

bullet

preparing a CV and finding a job.

bullet

support available when you start work.
