The College encourages people with disabilities or learning difficulties to participate in its programmes. It has an Equal Opportunities Policy which ensures that all students have equal access to all its services and facilities, a large team of specialist staff and a range of equipment to enable all students to reach their full potential.

Bournville College of Further Education encourages everyone to access further education. The college believes disabled people should have the same opportunities as non-disabled people to benefit wherever possible from whatever education or other related provision is available.

There are facilities for people with learning difficulties and /or disabilities and those who have missed out at school or socially. For the past 30 years the college has continued to improve access for people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, ensuring access to further education and the right for people to follow their own choices.

All students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities will be encouraged to think about, plan and discuss their own learning programme in the college. Students should be able to join the course they want, if they meet the entry criteria, and follow it with individual support they need.
